Here are eleven undeveloped parcels on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada. Campobello is approximately eight miles long and three miles wide, sitting just off the eastern-most part of the United States, connected to Lubec, Maine by the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Bridge.
This acreage represents the last undeveloped land on Campobello--now being offered at a very low price. You won't find anything of this quality for this price, anywhere on the East Coast.
All are priced at a considerable discount when compared with similar acreage in the area.. A few of the lots are waterfront, almost all have ocean views. Some of the larger parcels are elevated, with 360 degree views and uncommon privacy. A few have fresh-water ponds and one has a beautiful salt-water estuary. Wildlife abounds. One even includes its own island.
There are some features shared by all the lots.
- roads, power, and telephone
- mostly tree-covered, some with mature growth
- no homeowners association (HOA) restrictive covenants or fees
- the lowest pricing on Campobello or the eastern seaboard
On this site you will find information about each of the parcels being offered. We have included many photographs showing each lot, as well as the surrounding area of Campobello. Many thanks to Lubec photographer Chessie Crowe for these photos.
Casco Bay Island
In addition we are offering a unique, beautiful, pristine island for sale off the coast of Campobello island, Casco Bay Island. Located in Canadian waters, Casco Bay Island is in the middle of Head Harbour Passage which separates Campobello Island from Deer Island, New Brunswick. At high tide, there are over two miles of shorefront.
The surrounding waters of Passamaquoddy Bay and the Bay of Fundy are incredibly rich in nutrients. As a result the region is teeming with life. During the summer months, encounters with whales, porpoises, seals, and bald eagles are practically a daily occurrence.
The island itself is geographically diverse. There are several protected coves, high bluffs, meadows, a marsh, plus many large and small beaches. The interior of the island is a vast, untouched forest of spruce. There is a great variety of other plant life as well, including blueberry and cranberry bushes, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, and wildflowers.
The island includes a custom-designed cedar log home which was built in 1994 and wharf built in 2001. The house sits high on the island, overlooking Head Harbour Passage, with views to the famous East Quoddy Head lighthouse on Campobello, and the towns of Lubec and Eastport, Maine. For those seeking to build a larger home there are several other sites on the island that would be ideal.
